A journey in pursuit of true democracy
-
Before 1986Born & Raised in Shanghai, I accepted the communist regime and avoided politics, fearing my father’s tragic fate, where he nearly took his own life.
-
1986 -1992Worked as an architect at China’s first nuclear power institute, designing factories, commercial and residential buildings. Visited Qinshan Nuclear Power plant twice and learned about China’s nuclear development.
-
June 1989The Tiananmen massacre crushed the Chinese student movement and ended my hopes for a democratic China.
-
1992 – 1994Arrived in Melbourne to study for a Master of Architecture at RMIT,while tutoring architectural design concepts and construction engineering.
-
1995 – 2016Married to an Australian.
– Raised my four daughters while continuing my architectural design and construction practice and joined the Master Builders Association.
– Started to write Nuclear Power Nuclear Game, a political thriller that explores China’s nuclear ambitions through the lives of its atomic scientists, aiming to shed light on an unexplored side of the Cold War’s global nuclear conflict.
-
1999Become an Australian citizen, enjoy freedom and volunteer at polling booths to experience the democratic election process firsthand.
-
2012Become a registered domestic builder and the driving force behind my own design and construction business. My extensive knowledge of the architectural design and building industry and its challenges enables me to inspire confidence in our community.
-
2021Published Nuclear Power Nuclear Game, a political thriller. After 16 years, I achieved my dream of becoming a writer. I helped a US producer adapt the duology into a three-season TV series and am now re-editing the sequel, Nuclear Shadow Nuclear Down.
– My research for this writing project has significantly enhanced my understanding of nuclear power, safety, and peace. It has also provided me with practical insights into renewable energy, focusing on its scientific, technological, and financial viability.
-
2022My experience fighting against prolonged social injustice—where criminal syndicates manipulate the government to scam, abuse and exploit—has shown me the vulnerability of our democratic system. Exposing these injustices on social media has highlighted ordinary individuals’ struggles in seeking justice in Australia. This has strengthened my commitment to advocating for your rights against bureaucracy, organized crime, and corporate interests. Running for the Melbourne Seat has allowed me to fulfill my wish to protect people. I will meet you, listen to you, understand your needs, and present you effectively in government. Together we shape Austrralia’s future.
