POLICY
I feel lucky to have called Melbourne my home for 30 years, and I am committed to keeping it the most livable city in the world.
As your local representative, I will focus on the real issues affecting our residents, businesses, ratepayers and workers in Melbourne.
This policy belongs to all of us. It is based on consultation, research, and evidence. Together, we will create a progressive and future-focused approach tailored for Melbourne.
A National Hub for Innovation, Industry & Finance
- Foster Innovation & Technology, by reducing bureaucracy, increasing investment in science and technology, utilizing open resources to enhance entrepreneurship, and establishing a balanced and productive industry.
- Promote Local Businesses, and protect industry while encouraging healthy competition to attract foreign investment and stimulate strong economic growth.
- Boost Economy, by investing in technology to use Australia’s abundant seawater will position us as leaders in renewable hydrogen energy. This will create sustainable energy solutions locally and support global efforts, while also boosting our economy through hydrogen technology exports.
- High-speed rail between Melbourne and the airport would greatly improve Victoria’s efficiency and strengthen our reputation as a top livable city.
- Climate Action, by upgrading railways for electric trains and replacing regional diesel trains. Phase out diesel, petrol, and LPG vehicles to enable Australia to rely entirely on electric and hydrogen vehicles, creating cleaner and more efficient transportation.

Reducing Cost of Living
- Controlling Inflation through home loan reforms, energy bill relief and fuel price capping.
- Stop Price Gouging, and incentivise small businesses by giving free vouchers to small grocery shop customers while preventing big supermarkets from price gouging.
- Providing Financial Support, to vulnerable populations through Centrelink in a timely and adequate manner.
Affordable Housing
- Streamlining Building Approvals, will speed up project completion and create a more efficient housing system.
- Build High-rise Apartments, around railway stations to cut costs, relieve infrastructure pressure, and quickly provide affordable housing. This will also reduce air pollution by promoting public transport, leading to fewer cars and less congestion.
- Boost Funding for Community and Public Housing programs to ensure affordable housing for low-income individuals.
- First-home buyers should have access to home loans and government incentives, regardless of their HECS debt status.
Universal Basic Income (UBI)
- A weekly payment to adult citizen resident, enough for a basic life (food and shelter)
- Replacing conditional welfare from Centrelink with UBI will ensure that no Australians live below the poverty line, adjusted for inflation.
- UBI can help Australians adapt to the AI era. This income would provide financial security, promote a balanced lifestyle, and encourage creativity. It allows people to work for enjoyment rather than just for retirement security, resulting in a more vibrant and dynamic society.

- Promote Medicare from pure medical purposes to Preventative healthcare and staying young to combating Australia’s aging on the future innovation.
